I know this is true because sometimes I cry when I'm coughing from smoking weed. Sometimes I cough so much that I throw up, and that is satisfying in a way as well. This may be conditioning myself to associate both things with getting blazed, but still.

if you're a spineless poltroon who cries at the slightest discomfort or inconvenience, i have bad news for you: nobody likes that in a woman either

the thing is when men hold back their tears, it's rarely out of shame or toxic stoicism, they just understand when it's appropriate to cry and when it isn't: if they can, they'll avoid killing the mood, creating unecessary tension or forcing everybody to shift their attention on how bad they're feeling in the present moment
